Can't access Orbi Remote Management Web Interface

I've enabled remote management per page 103 of the orbi manual (http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBK50/Orbi_UM_EN.pdf), but chrome still will not open the orbi web login page when on LTE. I get an error like the following:

This page isn’t working

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx didn’t send any data.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I can connect with the app just fine but would like to access advanced settings as well.

Sorry if this is a dumb question: Are you typing "https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1024" or "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1024" (no "s").

I am one of the users who find it strange that Negear uses unencrypted (http) web for administration, but I had never looked at Remote Administration.  On the setup page for Remote Administration, it shows the web link as "https://".

Silly me.  I had never thought to see how adminstration was set up for "remote."

Firmware v 2.3.1.60, and it's connected to an AT&T Arris BGW210-700. Mode on the ATT device is IP passthrough to the Orbi.

And does the RBR give you the IP address to enter into the remote connected device? I think it should give you the remote IP address to use. http:\\##.##.###.### which should be the WAN IP address that the RBR is getting thru the modem...

So, the app works over LTE, but a web browser does not?  And, another browser besides Chrome fails the same way?

Might try setting the port to 80 (the default for http).  As the manual points out, this is less secure than picking some random port number, but the goal is to get it working first and this removes one variable.  There are no restrictions on remote IP, correct?

The app works over LTE and other wifi networks. Web browsers work over neither.

Safari says "Safari can't open the page 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1024' because the server unexpectedly dropped the conneciton. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again." The port range that I'm allowed is 1024 to 65535. It won't let me set to 80. I guess I'll open up a support ticket tonight if all else fails.
