Can't change verification phone number for Orbi

Having never enabled two factor authentication, I cannot speak from personal experience.

There are several Knowledgebase articles:

which leads to:

I have a suspicion that this advice might be impossible to follow because the Orbi 'app' may not open unless the user supplies the two factor authentication number which has been sent to a phone number they can no longer access.

Is this what is happening?

Thank you. There were two methods set up - devices and SMS. I wasn’t able to change the SMS only delete it so I did. I’ll just rely on my other devices for authentication.
