Can't connect to internet perhaps because 0.0.0.0 doesn't seem like the right IP Addr
I'm stuck. Config on the Orbi got blown away so I reset back to factory settings, but I cannot connect to the internet. As seen in the attached pic the INTERNET PORT IP Address shows as 0.0.0.0. T...

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Any ideas what to try now to finish this off?

Thanks to all for reading. Powering off the cable modem and Obri router for 1 min got things quite a bit further. Thanks! At least Orbi thinks I'm connected to the internet and I was able to connect and use things as usual... for about 5 or 7 mins. Then things slowed down and stopped. It is maddening when companies remove the product label from devices. There are generally clues to help decipher the ISP device:
- If the modem has only one ethernet port on the back, it is almost certainly "only a modem" which has only one mode (what we call "bridge" or "passthrough").
- If the modem has four ethernet ports on the back, it is almost certainly a combination modem/router (and maybe even also WiFi).
That makes discovering the mode more difficult. Basically the key is to look at the Orbi public IP address.
If the address is in one of the private IP spaces, the modem is almost certainly in router mode.

If the Orbi's IP address is not a private IP address, then the modem has passed the assigned public IP address on to the Orbi.

No, the key is to look at the Orbi _WAN/Internet_ IP address, and
_determine_ whether or not it's a "public IP address". Which can be
done by plugging it into the form at: https://whois.arin.net/> If the Orbi's [WAN/Internet] IP address is not a private IP address,

address, then the "modem" is still a modem+router (not in "bridge"

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Re the double NAT, this setup (Xfinity modem in bridge mode and Orbi doing routing) worked fine for 3 or so months. Not sure why this began... Given the direction given in msg 7 (factory reset again and reconfig) , do the msg 12 comments impact that? Or obviate that?

Xfinity has an app that is used for configing the cable modem. Upon using it I'm told, essentially, you can't do anything because your modem is in bridge mode.
Re 192.168.100.1, I have my addresses starting with 10.0.x.x. I have a lot of nailed IPs for cameras, but my router config backup from Feb has saved me from redoing all that.

Please don't post the WAN ip address in public forums. Considered a security risk.
Is that Internet IP address seen on the RBR internet status page on the RBR? Or elsewhere?
