Anyway, I can't update it since I have no access to Orbi satellite, it even can't sync when placed 10 cm away from Orbi Router.

Hello capacytron ,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
Your RBR50 needs to be connected to your RBS50. Your network schema connects the RBR50 and the RBS50 to the ISP router. However, your RBS50 needs the RBR50 to connect to the internet.
One way to solve this issue would be to add an unmanaged switch to your network and connect both the RBR50 and your RBS50 to that switch, then connect your ISP router to the WAN port on your RBR50.
Please visit the link below for additional information on the suggested network topologies for your Orbi Mesh system:

Hi Kavin, thanks for your response.
now I get the problem. TBH, I don't fully follow why it can't work through ISP router. RBR can send UPD multicast to locate RBS in the same network...
Why it doesn't work via wifi? RBR wifi network is available at RBS location (5 meters away)
Can I use same wire and connect RBS directly to RBR? They can't sync even if they are placed 10 centimeters away from each other.

The Orbi router exists in two LANs:
- The LAN created by the Internet Service Provider router, and
- The LAN created by the Orbi router, which is different from the LAN created by the ISP router.
In theory, Netgear's programmers could have designed the product in many ways. The way they did design the product is with the Orbi satellites in the Orbi LAN. That is where the router expects to find them. It does not expect to find a satellite in the ISP LAN. If the satellite is not connected to the Orbi through WiFi or one of the LAN ports, then the router cannot find it.

This is a very good question. If the satellite cannot connect to the router, then something is seriously wrong. Assuming that the router and satellite were working at the previous location, then simply powering them both up side-by-side should result in the same network as before. My advice would be to:
- Access the Orbi web interface and observe how the satellite is described. If the status is "Disconnected", then click on the option to delete it. If the status is not "Disconnected", what is the status?
- Use a paperclip to Factory Reset the satellite.
- Select the web interface option to Add Orbi Satellite and follow the directions until the satellite ring light turns Blue for 3 minutes and the status on Attached Devices changes to 5G WiFi, "Good".
- Then, connect a satellite LAN port directly to one of the router LAN ports with a short Ethernet cable.
- Wait at least 5 minutes, then Refresh the Attached Devices page to see that the satellite changed from WiFi to 'Wired'.
- After this has worked, then relocate the satellite to the desired location and connect it to the Orbi LAN port using in-house cable. If the satellite again shows as "Wired", then the system is complete. If the satellite never changes to "Wired" then there is a problem with the cable path.

Yes, an Ethernet cable directly from router LAN port to satellite LAN port should work. My concern is that all this 'moving around' has got the poor satellite so confused that it no longer will sync with WiFi. that needs to be fixed first.
