Can't get 1GB connections speeds with RBK50-AC3000
Recently upgraded to a 1GB internet package with Optimum. First tried to hookup using a Netgear Nighthawk CM1100 DOCSIS3.1 modem, but measured download speed using Ookala SpeedTest was 85-120Mbps. Technician then substituted Optimum's "preferred" modem - a Ubee UBC1322BA00. Measured download speed increased to 200Mbps.Upload speeds in both cases were 50-55Mbps.
When the speed test included with the RBK50/RBS50 is activated, the measured download speed is approx. 986Mbps!
Is there a setting I need to change on the Orbis to realize a faster download speed?? Distance from the RBS50 is roughly 25 ft. Distance from the RBK50 to the RBS50 is roughly 45 ft. Backhaul status is shown as "good". Firmware version is V2.7.2.102 .

Check speeds with a wired PC conncected to the modem. Then test with the wired PC connected to the RBR in the mix. Wired speeds should be near 900Mpbs. Wireless speeds will not be seen anything near 900Mpbs. Most wifi devices max out at around 400-500Mbps on 5Ghz AC due to limitations of there design and support.
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
