Can't update RBS50Y

I can't get my RBS50Y to update. The android app would always never get pass "wait about 5 minutes"  and "there was a problem checking the firmware".   I then tried the website there I could update my RBR50 main router manually via the file download. I cannot do the same manually with the RBS50 satellites and the RBS50Y (outdoor) any tips?

    The most common advice is to connect directly to each satellite using the IP address of the satellite, which appears on the Orbi web interface, Attached Devices page (the top section has satellites. the bottom section has other devices).

     

    Each satellite has a web page, with the bottom menu item being, Update Firmware.
