CBR40 - Downstream Light Blinking during initial set-up

Hello Community, During initial set-up of my CBR40 router, the downstrem led light continually blinks. I am able to connect to the OrbiXX wifi on my mobile device (and use it for web browser), however in the set-up app it stated that i am unable to connect to the orbi wifi. I am using it with a Frontier NVG443B DSL modem. Please help me get this system connected and running!!!

    CBR40 is a Cable modem router. 

     

    I just want to confirm the type of connection you have. Who is your Internet Service provider? Do you plan on connecting the CBR40 to your existing modem?
