CBR40 - Possible to exceed 866Mbps?
Upgrading from 200Mbps to gigabit internet, and I've never had an issue transferring data locally. Now though, I want to make sure I can get as much of that 940Mbps upload/download as I can. My CBR40...

I have a 1GB internet connection, and just I installed an RBK750 router with 2 satellites and a new CV1150V modem. As soon as I completed the setup process, I ran a speed test from a wired (to the router) connection and saw 950+ Mbps. I then ran a test using wireless on a phone that supports Wifi 6 (802.11ax), and saw 850 Mbps over wireless. The next day, all of my wireless devices dropped to consistently less than 100 Mbps. After MANY hours with Pro Support, we got the speed on the phone back up to 750, but only if I'm sitting within 3 feet or so of the router. Less than 20 feet from the router, I'm seeing 400. Something to consider (I didn't) is that although they support Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ax), neither my tablet nor my laptop support (Wi-Fi 6). I was told by the Netgear support tech, that the expectation for these devices would be around 400 Mbps, but I'm having trouble getting them over 300 ( just ran a test, and got less than 200).
Based on this experience, I would be extremely skeptical about consistently getting 866 Mbps on a device that supports Wifi 6, and I would not expect to see that using WiFi 5 devices
