CBR40 to wired connection
I have 3 building with one internet service. The internet runs to a CBR 40 in the main building, the next building has a RBW30 extender that does an OK job of picking up the WiFi from the CBR40 the 3...
Assuming that this building with the "splitter" is too far from the Orbi router for an Orbi satellite to get a good signal, then the way to create a seamless WiFi network is to connect an Orbi satellite to the "splitter".
My guess is that this device is a "dumb gigabit switch".
Any Orbi satellite with an ethernet port will work, i.e. RBS50, RBS40, RBS20. but NOT the new (inexpensive) RBS10.
