Cbr40 with dsl modem to use as wireless router

Question

As the post suggests, is there any way to configure cbr40 as wireless router with CenturyLink dsl modem? Anyone managed to do it? I know it can't be used as access point but any way to bring in Wan input into Lan ports and configure for nat in setup page?

Crazy how something this expensive cannot be used as simple as access point or router only
