Change Connection Type from 5G to Wired (RBK23)
Hi there, when I set up my router and satellites all the devices were connected to the same switch. As it turns out, - one of the satellites is now indicated to be connected with connection type 5G...

Ok. So that configuration should work well.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?
Please review this:
30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

I have a TP-Link SK5428 switch. It is run without any management features. The router and the satellites are connected as it is indicated in the third picture with the switch - except that I use the yellow socket for plugging in the LAN cable.
The Orbi router is run in AP mode since it is connected to a firewall router."30 feet is recommended": When I setup my connections the router and the satellites were indeed much closer. Do you thins I have to do a factory reset and begin with the setup from the beginning in order to change the connection type? :-(

Please confirm the model# of the swtich. I don't see a SK series switch listed for TPLink...SG or SL maybe?
I would connect each RBS directly to the back of the RBR to ensure they work and appear as a wired RBS first. Then place back in there remote locations. Usually wireless synce first, then once you see top ring BLUE, connect the ethernet cable and give 5 minutes for it to complete the migration to ethernet. Check the status.

Sorry, it was a typo. The correct model is a TP-Link TL SG5428

Thanks for your advice. Am I correct that your proposal requires a factory reset?
"migration to ethernet" means "migration to wired connection" or changing the connection to use the switch?
