connecting to a second router
Hello,
I just purchased the orbi mesh wifi system and wanted to connect it to my old nighthawk x4 to have two seperate ssids and networks. i plugged the orbi into the LAN port of the Nighthawk and did the setup and changed the advanced feature to bridge mode.
i am having a lot of data loss. when i connect the orbi directly into the modem im getting speeds of over 100mbs down via speed test but when its conected through my nighthawk im getting roughly 20.
can anyone advise how this can be fixed please?
thank you

What is the mfr and model # of the ISP modem.
Change the Orbi back to router mode.
Remove the NH router
Connect the Orb router to the ISP modem.
Orbi doesn't support bridge mode. Router and AP modes are supported.

the orbi i have does have that option when you go into the setting from a pc.
i have the orbi mesh rbr10 and there is a bridge/vlan option.
Oh thats probably for briding to VLAN services on the wan side.
Since you have a 1 series, this differs from the 20 and 50 series, They have WAN VLAN support however just router and AP mode features.
