Connection dropping from one satellite showing magenta and mobile app failure
Hi all.
So, during recent tropical storm Isaias, our electricity and cable internet went down for almost a week.
When it came back, one of my Orbi satellites started glowing magenta almost all the time and, while myRoku, right next to it, mostly works, my cell phone, 10 feet away, keeps losing the signal and dropping out of network.
Tried using the Orbi Android app to check for an upgrade firmware but it doesn't seem like Im behind on that score.
BUT, in the process, the app can't find the router, even when right next to the router and, the Orbi network, originally installed when I installed the router, is now grayed out and doesn't recognize that network when the app tells me to connect to it.
So I'm stuck in the sand here. Can't update the firmware, even if there was an update because the app can't find the Orbi router and the Orbi network is showing as not within range, even right next to the router.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like maybe the route and Satellite got scrambled with the storm. I would factory reset the router and satellite and re-configure the router and reconnect the sattelite
