"Connection not secure" message when I login to my orbi router page

Question

When I visit my Netgear router orbi site my browser (Firefox) tells me that the connection is not secure.&nbsp; I have read through several older discussions from 2018 on this topic and although they were very informative non of the solutions offered up have worked.&nbsp; Is there any new thoughts on this issue?&nbsp; I have tried numerous url configurations and all are unsecure according to Firefox.&nbsp; I get the same message when I use Explorer.&nbsp; All of my browsers are up to date and my computer is showing the correct date and time.&nbsp; Thank you.

There is nothing wrong.&nbsp; Simply locate the link (in tiny type) that says "I trust this site.&nbsp; Go ahead and connect."&nbsp;By defiinition, "http" is "insecure".&nbsp; Imagine if you went to mail a post card (remember those?).&nbsp; The mailman could say, "STOP. THIS IS INSECURE. ANYONE CAN READ YOUR MESSAGE.&nbsp; GO BACK. DANGER."&nbsp; And, you would say, "Well, duh.&nbsp; It's a post card."&nbsp;With http, any evil-doer who has learned the WiFi password and managed to connect to your Orbi and install a packet sniffer can theoretically capture packets between your computer and the Orbi and be able to compromise your internal network.&nbsp; Well, that's the least of your problems.&nbsp;Industry practice in 2020 is for browsers to raise alarms any time a user attempts to browse a web site using http instead of the "secure" https. What was common practice just last year, is not "insecure."

My satellite is not working. I am following suggestions and one is to reset my main router. I have done so - now when I go to sites I know are secure using the orbi network, Im getting an security risk notification?&nbsp;How do I fix this?Judy

By being added onto a discussion from 2020 about a totally different issue, this question is almost certain to be overlooked.
It would be effective to begin a new discussion with a subject that does not mention logging into the router page.
