Hi, jongreet
Restart the router: The first step in troubleshooting connectivity issues with your Netgear router is to restart it. Turn off the router, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on again. This can help to reset the connection and resolve any temporary issues that may be causing the problem.
Check cable connections: Make sure that all cable connections are secure, this includes the power cable, the cable connecting the router to your modem, and any cables connecting devices to the router.
Update the firmware: Ensure that you have the latest firmware for your router. You can check for updates on the Netgear website or by logging into your router's web interface.
Check for interference: Interference from other electronic devices can cause connectivity issues. Try to move the router to a different location, or try turning off other devices to see if that resolves the problem.
Check the IP configuration: Make sure that your router's IP configuration is correct, you can check it by logging in to the router's web interface.
Check for physical damage: Inspect the router for any signs of physical damage, such as a damaged antenna or a broken cable.
Reset the router to factory defaults: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to reset the router to its factory defaults. This will erase all settings, so be sure to have your login credentials and network settings handy.
These are the most common steps to troubleshoot connectivity issues with your Netgear router. If you still have problem after trying these steps, it's recommended to check the Netgear community or contact their support for further assistance at https://www.netgear.com/support/?_ga=2.34140450.2071458875.1673439519-1450666210.1673439519
