Yes, there are two ways. (a) modify the html page DEV_show_device.htm, or (b) install an alternative version of DEV_show_device.htm from SLK-Purdue which has a longer timeout and also sorts the Attached Devices page on any column.
There is a line in the web html:
//itime=setTimeout("getDevices()", 5000);
which appears to say "wait 5,000 miliseconds (5 seconds) before updating the page." The vi text editor is part of the Orbi "busybox" utilities and could be used to change the value to something larger.
I have installed Scott's Attached Devices and I LOVE it. That said, unless a person is comfortable with telnet, linux, the vi editor, and messing around in the "innerds" of Orbi software, it may not be something to mess with.
ALTERNATIVE 2:
Instead of changing device names on the Attached Devices page, go to the Advanced Tab, Security, Access Control page. Turn on Access Control (temporarily at least), then check the circle next to any device and click on "Edit". make the changes, then click "Apply". This brings up the same device name editing box as Attached Devices does.

My alternative page currently works for all version 2.5.2.4 and earlier. I am currently working on a update for 2.7.1.60. I will be looking tester soon.
