Cox Cable Compatibility

I am looking to upgrade the router-modem for my Cox Cable "Ultimate" service.  Cox doesn't list the Orbi AC3000 as compatible with their service.  I think that's because it's too new.  Please offer a...

I have cox and I recommend NOT using a router-modem combo.   I can't make out what you have now.    

my cox system is  modem to orbi plus 2 sats.   That's it.   

cox is one of the few isps that don't require you use their gear.   The orbi is not new.  

keep it simple.
