The steps for tftp are very precise and need to be followed exactly. to the point of upper/lower case. As well as you need to make sure you enable tftp from within windows. did you do this?

and did you extract the firmware when you downloaded it?

- hammadbadozaiDec 18, 2019AspirantYes to both questions..
i did enable tftp from windows settings and tried cmd method as well for putting the firmware.. didint work. I used the tftp program recommended by NG specialist.. no luck.
While pressing reset button, the solid state green light doesn’t change. And i did put them image file in desktop after extraction- plemansDec 18, 2019Guru - Experienced User
It shouldn't need a different program. The built in one works fine.
Are you able to ping the router?
When you're pressing the reset button, how long are you holding it?
have you tried a 30/30/30?
Thats holding reset while its powered up for 30 seconds, then power it down for 30 seconds while still holding reset, then powering backup all while holding reset for 30 seconds. Basically you're holding reset in for a total of 90 seconds?
- hammadbadozaiDec 18, 2019AspirantI am not being able to ping my router, neither i find blinking leds on ethernet cable when connect it to my laptop or modem..
i tried 30/30/30 as well.. no luck..
