Daisy Chain Connection issues in RBR20
Help - I don't speak geek. I purchased an orbi rbr20 a while ago and 2 satellites. I had to use customer support to force it to do what I needed it to do. I need a daisy chain that goes from router ...

Unplug your satellites.
Go to browser and type orbilogin.com
In Orbi Admin -> Advanced Tab -> Advanced -> Wireless Settings -> Check Enable Daisy Chain and save.
Plug satellites back in one at a time (closest to main Orbi router first, then the second once it is back online.
To check go to Orbilogin.com and click connected devices. At the top it will show you what satellite is connected to the router and what satellite is connected to the satellite.

This is very helpful and clearly presented, except that it didn't work. It gave me the same star configuration that I started with. I think the next thing to try would be to delete the second satellite and redo it. Would I need to reboot satellite 1 again, or leave it be and just deal with satellite 2?

The one thing
One thing is, if the satellite gets a better connection to the router over the other satellite, it will take it.You could try factory resetting both satellites and re-syncing them one at a time.

Thank you. I will try that. When it is in the star configuration my satellite #2 gets about 50mps down compared to 300mps when going direct. So I am at a loss as to figure out why it thinks that is better.

What was the result of your re-configuration? Were you able to get it working in Daisy Chain mode?
