Defender says I'm on a Guest or Public network
Hello,
I just set up an Orbi RBR50 with a satellite. In Windows Defender, it shows that I'm on a Guest or Public Network. I did set up a guest setting, but I'm not on it. Also, my HP Spectre shows up as a Asus Zenbook (?). Does it matter? Thanks!

That'd be a windows setting. Not a router setting.
Make a Wi-Fi network public or private in Windows (microsoft.com)

Netgear has incorporated code from "Fing" into the router firmware which attempts to deduce the brand and type of each device based on the WiFi chip's MAC address and (probably) their wonderful analysis routines. Fing comes really close a lot of the time, but not always.
On the Orbi web interface, Attached Devices page, clicking on the name of a device will pop up a window where the user can enter text fields to define the device Name and a description of what it is, plus use a drop down menu to select a Type (which is what is used to display a cute symbol next to the device name). The table of device types is woefully out of date.
There is a similar feature on the Orbi 'app'.
Does it matter? Nope.
