Device connected but not sending data
I have the RBR50. I am trying to connect a sump pump monitor to my network. After some trouble with the 2.4/5 ghz thing, it finally did connect. It shows up in my devices and says approved. The problem is that something, maybe the router, maybe the ISP (Verizon), is not allowing the device to send data out. The device is working because when connected to another network (phone hotspot) it does work. Any ideas? Fwiw, the ISP said it wasn’t them. Sorry, I’m not an IT guy, so may have talk slowly (but I’m totally willing to learn, and not willing to shell out for that net gear support scam). Thanks!

It would help to know the brand/model of device so we can bring up the user manual on the web.
"not send data out" is sort of vague. Can you be more specific about how the failure is detected?
Is it during the setup, or when trying to monitor the device after setup is complete?
