DMZ does not work

Hey all,

Just got the Orbi AC3000 RBK50 router mesh network, and so far its great except that DMZ is not working. Port forwarding seems to work, but I would rather manage the firewall for my server using IP Tables, as I have always done, and forwarding to that using DMZ. However even though I have the correct server set in WAN setup for default DMZ server, it is not opening the ports. When attempting to telnet to 22 for instance, I get connection refused, until I add that port to forwarding.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

    What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?

So your using a different DHCP server on the same network?

Are you sure that your ISP modem/router is not the one who blocks the telnet request and not Orbi?

Do you see any input in the Orbi Logs when you try the telnet?
