Do not buy unless you are willing to deal with these shortcomings

I just bought the orbi voice speaker and updated to the latest firmware. I am having the same problems that others are with the volume not working. There are questions and threads about this that have not been resolved for almost a year. Apparently software updates arent fixing it.

The volume control intermittently stops working requiring a reboot.   This one is a big problem! It jmakes it almost unusable to have to get up and reboot it all the time.

Also several very important features are missing from this device:

Alexa Communication features dont work.

It wont work as a multi room spekaer

There is no way to output sound to another device or input sound from another device.

You are better off just buying a 30$ echo dot and hooking a speaker up to it. Then you will have these features.
