Does the Orbi team have any plans to allow separate SSID in a patch soon?
I'm asking since with some of the latest mesh systems like Google Nest to allow it, will Netgear finally give us the option to seperate 2.4ghz and 5ghz as well?
Very much doubt it. If this is a "deal breaker", I would look elsewhere.
Its not a deal breaker it would be just apreciated since they have fixed ipv6 and made firmware updates not auto update, it only makes since to do this now.

Are you talking about Netgear?
If so, firmware updates with major revisions are still pushed automatically.
Well for the lates updates I just saw a notification on the GUI this year it would say update availiable but you had to click to install it.

True...and those are do NOT contain major revisions. Install at your own risk. Lots of folks in here wished they hadn't
