double nat issues, multiple connections

Hi, i'm looking for a bit of help but I think some context may be necessary

my house doesn't have a very good internet range (3 story apartment where the internet range is only through the middle floor) so my dad bought some orbi meshes a few months ago, things kept getting more and more difficult with connections which has led to us now having three different meshes connected to a main router on the middle floor (one mesh to give internet downstairs (mesh 3), two that reach upstairs(mesh 1 and 2))

the issue I've been having now is that our xbox one is constantly having "double Nat" issues. I only have permission to mess with mesh 1 on my own so i'm not able to make many changes, but I need some help in figuring out what to do. i'm not a network expert but here are some things I have tried doing so far.

set mesh 1 to ap mode. during the change this disconnected mesh 2 and 3 from the internet and their connection was slower.

set port forwarding on mesh 1 for the xbox one IP. port forwarding caused more issues and removed upnp (for obvious reasons)

I've been considering finding a way to set the main router all the meshes are connected to into bridge mode, but i'm not sure what that will do and I'll have to check with everyone else in the household if i can give it a shot.

if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

I have uPnP enabled and that two xbox consoles and get OPEN NAT. Cable modem is a cable modem only. I don't use any PF configurations.

Changing Mesh 1 to AP mode should have no effect on the other mesh systems as long as they are all three connected directly to the main router.  AP mode would remove "double NAT", however is will not open any ports, which some XBox games may need.
