Dynamic dns updating not working with no-ip/zapto ?

I'm on the latest firmware.  Every month I get an email from no-ip telling me I have to manually confirm my address.  The Orbi is configured with my info, but doesn't seem to send the update, and is not reporting any failure associated with doing so.

 

I tried the -. trick mentioned in another thread, perhaps incorrectly, but the Orbi rejected that as a hostname.

 

What's the secret to getting this to work?

 

I suppose I should also ask, when it is working, how often is it supposed to do the updates?
