Dynamic QoS and working from home
Hi,
I am struggling to get a stable connection when working from home. It looks like it is related to the dynamic QoS. I have read the below link and it seems the dynamic QoS prioritises gaming. My issue is that I am working from home, connected to my work via VPN. As soon as my kids start playing on their PS4 and Xbox one, my VPN will crawl to a halt and keeps disconnecting. Is there a way I can prioritise my VPN connection from my laptop with my netgear orbi rbr50. Currently I am having to stop their connection from the app which is not something I want to keep on doing but to have more control over QoS

Unfortunealy you can't.
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What ISP speeds UP and Down do you pay for?
Are you wired or wirelessly connected to the system? Wired would be preferred...
Kids playing PS and xbox at the same time?

ekhalil is correct. Two years ago, one of the early Orbi firmwares had a web page for managing QoS, but that disappeared around 2018 and has not been seen since.
I found that my Spectrum bandwidth could be increased with a phone call to Spectrum. No "visit". No change in equipment. I went from 75mb to 200mb. There is a 400mb available, but I am too cheap to pay more.
