Yes. That's the server & port #. It got erased when I pasted it in.

Searching for "Authorization failed (535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful" turns up many hits, such as:

This is an existing account that "works", correct?

I actually set up a (free) GMail account specifically to send Orbi logs. Have never had a Hotmail account.

I tried a new gmail account, and my existing gmail account. Still getting
[email failed] ssmtp: Authorization failed (535 5.7.8 https://support.google.com/mail/?p, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 15:37:47

using smtp.gmail.com port 587

I even tried Less secure app access but it still doesn't work

  I used port 465 for smtp.gmail.com, not port 587.
  
  I think one thing that tripped me up was trying to send email from an account to the same account.
  You have different account, correct?

    Yes. Sending from gmail to hotmail.
