Thanks for the answer. I am trying to do your #2 suggestion, but 5268AC keeps seeing my CBR40 as a static IP and gives an error when I try to DMZplus. Orbi is showing up as DHCP enabled so I am stuck.

You can't do those suggestions with the CBK40. The CBK40 is a replacement modem for your ISP provided modem. The CBK40 requires the connection of the RG6 coax cable line from the ISP to the CBK40 in back.
If this doesn't work, you'll need to get in to a RBK Orbi system and return the CBK40 system.
