Ethernet backhaul after point to point long distance wireless bridge
I currently have a barn that is too far of a distance for a wireless backhaul for RBR50 and RBS50. Instead of running a very long cable to the barn, I got an avalon point to point long distance wirel...

So here is the long story. I went home and somehow the barn satellite had connected with wireless backhaul to the router even with the distance of barn to house. When I looked at connected devices on the barn satellite, it showed both point to point hardware IPs and MAC addresses connected wired to it. Since they were recognized I just did a reboot of everything and the next time it came on it worked as a wired backhauled satellite no problem. I have no clue what the issue was but the ole unplug it and plug it back in seemed to change things. Thanks for all suggestions.

If the RBS connected at the end point to point in the barn and the RBS is not being seen by the RBR thru this path, possible that the point to point devices are not fully allowing the Orbi specific data traffic to pass thru to the RBR on the other side.
What CAT# lan cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.

Thanks for the response, I see you on Reddit and here. I appreciate it. I am Cat6 everywhere and the point to point is rated at 1Gbps. When I connect my laptop directly to the point to point in the barn I get the full transfer rate. Is there a way to login directly to set settings for individual RBS for the Ethernet backhaul? Thanks again for any suggestions.
