Ethernet backhaul on only 1 satellite
Hi all - I have an Orbi 3 pack (1 router and 2 satellites). Am I able to use Ethernet backhaul on just 1 satellite and leave the other wireless? Is anyone doing this?

It’s set up in AP mode, tried disabling beam forming, MUMMI and daisy chain modes also, I then reset Orbi and connected in router mode with no cables and enabeled daisy chain etc and there is very little difference in speeds, wire is indicating 960 mbps from switch. router is fritz box 7560, everything seems to be connecting at the 2.4 ghz band for some reason, house is two story small house so Satelites & Router should be fine, switch is Netgear 24 port switch unmanaged (NETGEAR GS324 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch), hope this helps my head is wrecked with this

Have you tried the Orbi with out the switch being connected?
I see it has some energy saving featuers which could be causing problems.
Modem Combo Units:
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
