Exclusive Costco Orbi RBK53 offering end date
Does anyone have insight regarding when this this currently exclusive Costco offer will be made available to other retail sources, for instance, Amazon?
What is the current price at Costco for the Orbi router?
Is the RBK53 an older version of the Orbi router? Best Buy currently has the RBR50 model of the Orbi on sale for $245.
Costco's current price is $499.99.
Costco's RBK53 is Router + 2 Satellites. BestBuy's RBR50 is only the Router (and more expensive than Amazon, BTW).
I recommend getting an Orbi package with at least one Satellite because it's much cheaper than buying the add-on satellite separately for ~$250 (and Amazon has a $30 coupon right now for the 2-pack system), otherwise there's not much point buying the expensive Orbi mesh system.
Thank you. I want to get the router +2 satellites but I don't want to get it from Costco. I'd much prefer to get it from Amazon. Not only do I not have an account at Costco (although I could certainly get it from there never the less), it's much easier for me to get it from Amazon and they have an excellent return policy as does Costco. Currently, it seems that Costco is the only company that has an exclusive contract for this three piece product. I am wondering when that exclusivity will end and will be widely available from other places. It is available at Amazon but it is currently going for anywhere between $579 and $600.
