fail to setup
I just bought a new system, tried to setup through ORBI app. It was successful only for split second, then back to offline. I had a RB50 before, it had same problem after a power failure, I was not...

Modem Combo Units:
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

What modem are you connecting to?
Are you going modem------>router------>devices? or is there something else in the link?
Where in the process is it failing? You say it was successful for a minute and then back offline.
how do you know its offline? Are your devices connecting and then saying no internet? What exactly is going on?
have you tried going through setup using the browser and hardwiring to the orbi with a pc?
If this is the 2nd system with this issue, I'd probably be looking at the modem and cabling. Potentially you got 2 bad systems but more likely, something else was the original culprit.

I used the ORBI APP setup through my iphone, It went succefully but only for split second from online to offline.
From the ORBI app it tells you the staus, I was so happy to see it connected successfully, but next second it says offline again.
I am using ATT 5268AC. I still can get emails but only limitted internet access. I still can watch utube but not netflix!!!??
I will call my modem service tomorrow.

Just like FURRYe38 explained. You're in a double nat. Follow the directions that were provided and it should work fine.
