Firmware disk image update files won't mount, Mac
Every disk image I download for firmware update fails to open on both a Mac and Windows machine. Anyone have a solution? And the automatic updates don't work. Thanks.

These are not disk images., They are firmware files with the extension .img.
You do not "open" them.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
Check the section in the manual on updating the firmware.
