Force Vizio to Satellite Instead of Router

What FW is currently loaded?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually.
When you using the app, are you turn OFF The wifi on the mobile device and moving closer to the satellite, then turn the wifi back ON on the mobile device?

As a newbie, I might need you to explain it to me like I'm 5, as I'm not completely familiar witht he Orbi interface and settings yet.
Here's a stab at your questions:
Home size: there are two floors, each about 100' x 24', so 2400 sq feet per floor, 4800 sq feet total.
Distance Between: I have the Router in the center of the first floor and the satellite in the center of the second floor. They're merely separated by the stairs. Straight vertical distance is 11 feet. Including the horizontal distance to go TO the stairs, up them and then to the satellite (horizontal distance), it would be 21 feet.
Channels: 2.4Ghz is on Auto and 5Ghz is 48. How does changing these channels affect the connectivity of the rest of my household devices?
Disabling: These are my current settings without having changed them
MU-MIMO: Already unchecked.
Daisy Chain: Already unchecked.
Fast Roaming: Checked.
IPv6: How do I disable this and why would I want to?
Enable 20/40 MHz Coexistence: Already unchecked
Router Firmware: Version is indeed V2.2.1.210. Does this mean I should enable/check Daisy Chain rather than keep it unchecked? I only have one satellite, so I'm not sure what difference this setting would make.
App: When using, I'm merely monitoring what my TV is doing in terms of its connection. I am stationary and near the TV. I'm not sure why my placement is relevant to my question.
Here is my situation in detail: I'm using the Orbi app to monitor what my TV is doing. When it is connected to the upstairs satellite, it sometimes cycles between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, but have no connectivity issues. After a power cycle, sometimes it wants to connect to the router downstairs (RBR50). When it does. my signal does not connect or is slow, drops, etc. With novice experience, it is my opinion that connecting to the downstairs router is the issue. So while I appreciate the swift reply, I'm not sure how some of these questions are relevant when all I want is to force the TV to connect to the upstairs satellite permanently without having to hardwire it.
