Genie & Orbi App - Why don't these work with IPV6 enabled andwill they ever?

I noticed today that neither my Genie nor Orbi apps work anymore and i've come to find out that neither work with IPV6 enabled. If it is turned off they work fine. Will there be an update in the future that will allow both of these apps to function with IPV6 enabled?
