Genie applicaitons

Hi all, 

 

I currently have installed the Netgear Genie app on my MacBook as well as my iPhone.  I am noticing that some of the settings I set on one are not reflected on the other.  For example the device name.  If set on one it the change doesn't reflect on the other. Also, the Genie apps do not seem to be full syncronised with the orbilogin as well.  Can these diffent apps create conflict and effect the Orbi performance?

 

Note:  My orbi is set up in AP mode.

 

Anyone noticed this?

    Hello aellul

     

    It shouldn't cause performance issues but using the web login may be the best way to access orbi to make sure the settings are correct.
