Google Home Mini not connecting to Netgear Orbi - AC2200 Mini Orbi Router(RBR40)

I originally purchased a Netgear R8000P X6S AC4000 for better wifi signal in my home.  I disconnected my AT&T router and ran the Netgear and the wifi was just as spoty and with the same dead spots.  Took it back and purchased the Orbi RBK-43S AC2200.  Dead spots were gone but can't connect my Google Mini's to connect.

I've talked to support for so many hours at level 1 I'm ready to just take this one back too.  We have modified the guest network, changed the access controls and security settings and still nothing.  I'm truely hoping someone in the community can help more than support asking if I contacted Google.

v/r

Disapointed.

While we wait for someone "who knows things" to comment, could you please take a look at this set of instructions and comment on "where does it fail?"

Are these the "Gen 1" Google Mini or the "Gen 2" Google Nest Mini?
