Hardwiring 1 Orbi satellite
I am wondering if I am able to hardwire 1 of the 2 satellites to the base unit and use the other one wirelessly? My house is 2200 sq ft 2 story. It is wired on the lower level and the upper level directly above it, but I was hoping to use the second satellite in a far corner of the first level but hardwiring it is not an option. Can I use both methods or do all 3 units have to be connected the same?

Satellites can be mixed, some wired, some WiFi.

Yes, I have my RBR50 with a wired backhaul to one RBS50 satellite and wireless to the other RBS50. This is supported, just be sure that if you have a network gigabit switch in between that it is not a "green" powersaving switch.
