have not been able to use VPN since we installed orbi

The suggestions say to log in and allow for vpn but I cannot even log into the orbi account bc it says i am not connected . The orbi is used to boost our Fronteir wireless service.

Could you please explain which "VPN" was being used before installing the Orbi?

i.e. Was VPN software installed on computers to use when browsing the internet?

Or, was VPN software installed on the Frontier wireless so that you could reach your home computer resources when elsewhere?
