How do I use OpenVPN client in Windows 10?
Hello Kindly Someone Help Me? About How do I use the OpenVPN client in my Windows 10 I am having trouble please kindly guide me.
Netgear routers (including the Orbi products) bundle OpenVPN host software which allows users to access the Orbi LAN from the Internet (i.e. when they are not connected to the LAN because they are physically remote). Assuming that this is the intended use, the procedure is to install OpenVPN client software on the Windows 10 computer and use the configuration file downloaded from the Orbi router.
It is not trivial to test OpenVPN because the client cannot be connected to the LAN when using OpenVPN. My practice is to create a Hot Spot on my mobile phone. Connect the Windows laptop to it over WiFi. Then activate OpenVPN Connect and use the Orbi parameter files for the connection.
