How to enable anywhere access

There are three methods to access an Orbi router remotely (from the internet):

• The Orbi "app" Anywhere Access
• The Orbi web interface Remote Management
• Activating OpenVPN on the Orbi router.

They are all separate.  There have been a number of posts about the "app" giving this unhelpful message "something went wrong".  One poster recommended trying again (and again) until it works. Another suggestion is to post in the community forum specifically for the "app" in hopes that people who have a lot of interest in the app will have suggestions:

The Orbi web interface has no connection to the "app". There is no setting or menu to activate the app Anywhere Access.

Likewise, the app has no method to activate the web interface Remote Management or OpenVPN.
