How to open a specific port on Orbi RBR50V2

I use the Blink secure app and I've had no problem until today. Authentication fails and when I went through the troubleshooting steps with Blink support, they identified the firewall within my router as my problem. I was told that the solution was to open port 443, but I have no idea how to do that and the instructions on port forwarding and port triggering to complicated for me. I have no idea how to find a server address for an app. Can someone direct me towards simple instructions on how to open a specified port?

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What happens if you put your device into the RBRs DMZ for a short period of time?

    There are two issues here:

    • How to do Port Forwarding. This is covered on page 112 of the Orbi RBR50 user manual
      https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBK50/Orbi_UM_EN.pdf
    • How to access recordings made by Blink security cameras using the Blink 'app', or access "Live View" from a Blink camera.
Neither of these have anything to do with forwarding a port through the router, because Blink cameras send everything "to the cloud" and keep nothing on the local network.  There is no reason to come through the router firewall to access them.

Could there possibly be any chance that this "Blink Support" was not actually "Blink"?

(If this is not about Blink cameras..... My Bad. Sorry)
