How to Orbi Voice RBS40V to mesh connect to RBR50 router?

Hi,

 

I am not able to successfully mesh connect a RBS40V to my RBR50 router with 2 existing RBS50 satellites.

 

I can't add it throught the "add satellite" function on the Orbi app.  It is currently functioning in WIFI extender mode only.  The firmware is on V1.0.0.48_1.0.38.  I am not able to successfully install any of the Orbi Mode firmware via browser such as the 2.6.1.4.  It provides a message of "firmware upgrade failed. Please check your file." 

 

Any advice on how to make ithe RRBS40V function in Orbi/Mesh mode would be greatly appreciated.

    NM, got it connected as a satellite.  Now, just trying to update the firmwire.

        I was able to update firmware.  I don't know why it can't auto update firmware, but why it would need to be done manually for a network equipment
