How to set uo Orbi system with multiple hardwired ethernet connections in2 buildings

We have 500 mps internet service into our house. The modem/wifi router is in one room and there are two hardwired extensions from this. One port, via cat 5 cable, is in the middle of the house and the other is to our garage, via cat 6 cable in underground conduit, that is 100 feet from the house. To put an Orbi mesh system into both the house and garage, how can we best use the hardwired ports?

I have a similar setup in my home. I have my Orbi Router connected to my ISP modem, 1 satellite hardwired in a different building and 1 satellite hard wired on the second floor.

Depending on what internet service you have, you will either have an ISP modem with 1 or 2 ports, or a modem/router with possibly 4 ports. If you have an ISP modem, you can connect the Orbi router to that modem and follow the app instructions for install. If you have a modem/router, you can either put the modem/router in bridge mode, disable WIFI and plug the Orbi router into it and follow the app's instructions for install. Make sure the orbi router is in router mode. Or you can leave the modem/router the way it is and plug the Orbi router into it and use the app to install, but set the Orbi router to AP (access point) mode.

Regarding the satellites, power up the satellites, one at a time, in the same room as the Orbi router and follow the app's installation instruction. Once the satellites are connected to the Orbi router, move each satellite to the Cat5 and Cat6 cable locations and plug them in. The satellites will automatically reconfigure themselves to wired backhaul.

You will now have a wireless and capable wired network, using the remaining port or ports on the back of the orbi satellites,  throughout the house and garage.

There are many Orbi 3 unit systems to choose from. My home is large and I use the Orbi RBK53 system, consisting of 1 RBR50 router and 2 RBS50 satellites, for better coverage over the less powerful systems. The new version is RBK53V2.
