I had ethernet backhaul working just fine until updating FW to v2.1.3.4

I had ethernet backhaul working just fine on FW v2.1.2.18 until updating FW to v2.1.3.4. Now, my RBS50 satellite will only connect via WiFi. When I plug in ethernet cable in to the RBS50, it locks up my RBR50 router. I lose connectability to the internet and all WiFi devices are unable to connect to my network. What could be the problem? I updated the RBS50 first than the RBR50 as suggested.

    Did you do a factory reset after upgrading FW then set up from scratch? This is needed for this version of FW.

    Lan cabling of good quality? Cat6 recommended.

     

    Also after setting up the Satellite for wireless, then connecting the ethernet cable for wired back haul, give it 5 minutes to fully re-configure the new connection and to stablized. I noticed my network hung up temporarily after I connected th cable with mine.

     

    Any external network switches in between the router and sat? If so, what is the Mfr and model#. Seen some issues with managed switches vs non managed.
