I just upgraded to Gigabit Speed with Xfininty Having Issues

Not necessarily but xfinity might have changed some provisioning on your modem. 

What modem are you using? 

What firmware is on the router? 

Have you tried the following? 

power off the router and modem and disconnect the cables from both (even coax).

connect coax back to modem.

power the modem on. wait a couple minutes for it to fully boot.

then connect ethernet from modem to wan port on orbi.

Then power orbi on. give it several minutes to fully boot. 

Check to see if it works.
