The modem's name is TG2492LG-LIB
the TG2492LG is a modem/router combo device. Its why you're having nat issues. Its called a double nat. It happens when you're running 2 routers on the same networks both running in router mode.

the 2 easiest fixes? You can either put the arris device in passthrough/modem only mode (contact isp for help with this) or you can place the netgear in AP (access point) mode.
I see. i'll definitely try these solutions. So, how do i make the netgear in access mode? If it doesn't work, I'll call the ISP for help.
