I'm not paying Netgear to replace their broken product
I am very very frustrated. My router is rebooting about every 15 minutes now. Netgear has offered to replace it, but they want me to pay to ship the defective unit back to them, and THEN wait 8 to 10...

What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the IP modem the Orbi is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
Most router mfrs do the same thing for shipping. How it's been for a long time now.
Next time, ask for a cross shipping RMA. This allows them to send you a new unit, once you get it, you them them back the old unit. You have to be sure to ship the old unit back though or they will charge you for the new unit.

2.1.4.16
Netgear CM500V
The size of the house is irrelevant to this issue. The router is rebooting constantly.
I am using factory settings. That should be good enough to have a functioning product.
They do offer cross shipping RMA. It's $16.90. That's the crux of this thread.

When it come to Orbi, everything is relevant. Got others working on there systems with some minor changes. it does help.
Try the suggestoins or contact NG support on the phone. Take the cross shipping offer. Nothing else can help you here in the forums...NG offfical support on the phone will be able to help you.

Are you a bot? If you read my first post, you'd see I already contacted support.

Contact them back and take the offer. If they'll cross ship you a unit first, then they should ship you a new unit first, then once your satisfied, you ship the old one back. Contact them back again and ask them for full details on this. Ensure you and them understand the process. If you can't get support technicial that understands, ask for a 2nd level support person. If they are asking you to pay for shipping then thats what it is. Some Mfr so this, some don't. Some don't charge the shipping fee however do charge for non returned units.
