Several alternatives come to mind:
- The #1 choice is to install an ethernet cable from the router to the outbuilding.
- It is tempting to ask if there is a window in the outbuilding that faces the main house. If so, a satellite placed in the window might connect to the router and also provide WiFi inside the outbuilding (as well as ethernet). Metal walls block WiFi, but much more so than windows. However, 60' is 'pushing it' in terms of the WiFi backhaul, unless there happens to be a satellite close to the outbuilding than the router.
- Installing ethernet cable can sometimes be impractical (building penetrations, crossing concrete, etc.). There have been numerous posts reporting success with point-to-point wireless bridges, such as the Ubiquiti NanoStation (or similar)

Because of the metal construction of the outbuilding, that unit may have to be located on the exterior with the ethernet cable penetrating the outbuilding wall.
